I’ve always felt very strongly that anyone coming to REclinic should feel a little bit special and a little bit pampered. For the last two years, we’ve created that sort of space as best we can within the Audley Dental Solutions practice. Being a converted barn, that’s been renovated to a very high specification, that wasn’t too difficult. They share our ethos that a patient should feel relaxed and at ease during their treatment and the surroundings are an important part of that. However, it is still a busy dental implant and specialist dental practice, so there is a fair bit of coming and going and the treatment rooms feel necessarily clinical.
So, when the opportunity to take premises just across the way from Audley Dental Solutions but still in the beautiful surroundings of Willow Gate Park, I jumped at the chance.
For 6 months, I was part aesthetics clinician and part building project manager! I became au fait with building regulations, plastering techniques, and various details of fixtures and fittings. At weekends, I cleaned and assembled furniture (quite badly it turns out – do not ask about the desk!)
But the result is a beautiful, serene, and luxurious space that I am so proud to call REclinic’s new home.
My aim was to create a clinic that felt special to its visitors and that offered a calm and discreet venue for their treatments.
Now we have our own space, my patients can arrive and know that no one else will interrupt their treatment. It will be blissfully just them and me for the entirety of their treatment. That’s important, particularly for those who be feeling a bit nervous or apprehensive about treatment.
The clinic was finally finished at the end of March (after several late nights and frantic sessions putting the finishing touches to the space!). Of course, what better way to celebrate than with a party?!
On 30th March, we welcomed many patients, colleagues, friends, and family to celebrate with us. Just for that one evening, forget what I said about a calm and serene environment! The clinic was buzzing with so many people, drinking, eating, and taking in the new surroundings!
I was thrilled that Kristina from Cutera could join us and give a demonstration of the latest, exciting treatment at REclinic, Secret RF. If you’ve not heard about the Secret RF and results achieved through radio-frequency micro-needling, have a look at our recent Secret RF blog.
Everyone left with a goody bag of gifts and I collapsed – tired but very happy!
The new clinic is just part of some very exciting developments at REclinic that I can’t wait to share with you over the next few weeks. For the last year or more, I’ve been studying, planning, and working away to make REclinic the foremost non-surgical aesthetics clinic in Oxfordshire and the hard work is really starting to pay off!
Thank you to all my lovely patients who have supported me so far – I can’t wait to see you all in the new clinic.
If you’ve never been to REclinic but are curious about how we might be able to help you, why not book a consultation? We now have an online booking facility on our website, making it even easier to arrange a consultation (or appointment for existing patients)!
Much love, Martina xx
