This is a common but poorly understood long-term skin condition. There are various forms that rosacea can take, whether that is redness, blushing, pustules, small visible blood vessels, and raised spots or lumps. It can also appear on various parts of the body, but the most common area is the face – cheeks, nose and around the eyes. There are also many contributing factors which cause rosacea: diet, exercise, alcohol, caffeine, hot drinks, sunlight, stress and also hereditary factors.
